One decision = one email processed through the triage pipeline: classify intent, detect urgency, score sentiment, assign priority. Every email that enters a connected inbox costs one AI decision.

Automation runs

1 per rule action fired

When a triage result triggers an automation rule, each action that executes counts as one run — archive, apply label, forward, notify Slack, etc. A rule with two actions on one email = 2 runs. This is what limits how much InboxIQ does on your behalf.

What exactly is an inbox?

An inbox is a connected Gmail or Outlook account. support@company.com and hello@company.com are two separate inboxes. Personal accounts like jane@company.com are also individual inboxes.

Can I add inboxes mid-month?

Yes. Inboxes are added at any time and prorated to the billing cycle. Remove an inbox and it's deactivated at the end of the current period.

What happens if I exceed my AI decision limit?

Triage continues but excess decisions are billed at the overage rate shown in your dashboard. We notify you before you exceed your limit.

Is there a free trial?

Yes — connect your inbox and get 7 days free on Business. No credit card required.

Do you offer annual billing?

Yes. Annual billing is available at 2 months free (equivalent to ~17% off). Contact us to switch.

Can I downgrade my plan?

Yes. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle. If you're over the lower plan's limits we'll notify you before the downgrade is applied.

Does InboxIQ read my emails?

InboxIQ processes email metadata and content through the triage pipeline only. No email content is stored after processing. See our Security page for full details.
