Can InboxIQ read all my emails, including personal ones?
InboxIQ reads emails that arrive in your connected inbox's primary Inbox folder. It does not distinguish between personal and work emails — if an email lands in your Inbox, InboxIQ will see it.
What InboxIQ reads
- Emails arriving in your Inbox folder after connection
- Subject line, sender, recipient, and body text
- Thread history when composing draft replies
What InboxIQ does NOT read
- Emails in Sent, Drafts, Spam, or custom folders (unless they pass through Inbox)
- Emails that arrived before you connected the inbox
- Attachments are read for classification context but not stored
- Contacts, calendar events, or anything outside of email
If you'd rather keep personal emails separate
The cleanest approach is to connect only a dedicated work inbox rather than a personal Gmail or Outlook account. InboxIQ works per inbox connection — if you only connect your work address, your personal inbox is never touched.
