Deleting your account
Deleting your account is permanent. All data β inboxes, labels, drafts, automation rules, knowledge base content, and usage history β is removed and cannot be recovered.
Before you delete
- Download any data you need. Once deleted, nothing can be retrieved.
- Cancel active subscriptions first. Go to Settings β Billing β Cancel subscription before deleting to avoid further charges.
- Disconnect team inboxes. If you are the account owner and teammates have connected inboxes, their connections will also be removed.
How to delete your account
- Go to Settings β Account
- Scroll to the bottom and click Delete account
- Type your email address to confirm
- Click Permanently delete
Deletion is processed immediately. You will be signed out and receive a confirmation email.
What happens to your data

| Connected inboxes | Disconnected immediately. OAuth tokens revoked. |
| Gmail labels / Outlook categories | Labels created by InboxIQ remain in your inbox. You can remove them manually. |
| AI drafts | Deleted from InboxIQ. Drafts already saved in Gmail/Outlook remain. |
| Knowledge base content | Deleted permanently. |
| Automation rules | Deleted permanently. |
| Billing history | Retained for 7 years for legal/tax compliance. |
Billing after deletion
If you had an active subscription, it is cancelled immediately. No further charges are made. Refunds for unused time are not provided unless required by law.
If you believe you were charged in error, contact support within 30 days.
